Click the start menu on your PC and choose the “Drive File Stream” program from the applications menu.
When prompted, click the “Sign In” button that is presented when the Drive File Stream client opens.
Enter your Google ID and password.
When you are successfully authenticated, you will be prompted with a message like the one below which permits the File Stream client to access and manage your Google Drive account. Choose “Allow”
“Google Drive” folder/shortcut will no longer be available in Windows Explorer and is now replaced by a mounted hard drive (“G drive”).
*Remember to store all critical data in either the G or H drive. Both locations are backed up on a daily basis.
**Google Drive should not be used for content that contains personally identifiable information or any other potentially sensitive data.
