Setting up Google Drive "File Stream" Client

Click the start menu on your PC and choose the “Drive File Stream” program from the applications menu.

Enter your Google username and password.


When you are successfully authenticated, you will be prompted with a message which permits the File Stream client to access and manage your Google Drive account.  Choose “Allow”


 “Google Drive” folder/shortcut will be available in Windows Explorer by a mounted hard drive (“G drive”).


 

Remember to store all critical data in either the G or H drive.  Both locations are backed up on a daily basis. 


Google Drive should not be used for content that contains personally identifiable information or any other potentially sensitive data.
